South Coast RaILS are based in New Milton, Hampshire, on the south coast and the edge of the New Forest. We have a newly converted 1st floor hall measuring 116ft by 36ft - that's 4,176 square feet dedicated to model railways in larger scales! There is lots of space to park in the gravelled area next to the hall.

All members receive a key enabling access to the club 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The layouts are all permanently erected, and in time will be fully scenic. We have dedicated large areas to all of the scales/gauges that we work in; please see the pics below and the links on the left for more.

Room to Work

We endeavour to make our facilities as comfortable and convenient as possible for our members and guests. At the moment, we currently provide little essentials like a kettle and microwave on site, as well as tables to work at and somewhere to sit! There is electricity and lighting, with toilet facilities near by. The hall also houses our growing Large Scale Railway Library (contributions to which are always welcome).
